Our beloved Father Sam departed for the Father’s House, leaving behind beautiful and priceless memories of what a Catholic should be. He lived and preached the Gospel, touching many lives. He served the poor, the most needy, the dispossessed, and migrants; he cared for his flock with enthusiasm, joy, and compassion. He was always attentive to needs and worked tirelessly with great energy. He gave sound advice and shared the joys and sorrows of those who came to him. He was humble and very cheerful, and in him we could see the merciful face of Christ. Rest in peace, Father Sam; you will always be alive in our hearts.
