Fr. Lusius Nimu SS.CC

Fr. Lusius Nimu is a member of Indonesian Province of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary (SS.CC). He was ordained at St. Damian Parish in Batam, Indonesia on May 29, 2003.  After ordination, he worked at St. Michael Parish in Bandung for four years as parochial vicar. In 2008, he was sent to Hawaii by his provincial to help the SS.CC of U.S. Province. In Hawaii, he worked at St. Augustine by-the-sea Parish for six years. Currently, he is assigned as a formator for a student of SS.CC of U.S. province who is studying for priesthood at the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California. At the same time, he is completing his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii.
