Injil hari ini mengisahkan cerita tentang terbongkarnya rencana Yudas untuk mengkhianati Gurunya. Kristus telah mengetahui semua itu sedari awal, namun kini Ia membeberkan hal itu terlebih dulu kepada murid-murid-Nya yang sama sekali tidak pernah menyangka bahwa Kristus akan dikhianati, apalagi oleh salah satu dari mereka. Kristus hanya mengatakan secara umum saja. “Bukan tentang kamu semua Aku berkata. Tentu saja Aku tidak berpikir bahwa kamu semua akan melakukan hal itu, sebab Aku tahu, siapa yang telah Kupilih, dan siapa yang telah Kulewatkan, tetapi haruslah genap nas ini: Orang yang makan roti-Ku, telah mengangkat tumitnya terhadap Aku (Mzm. 41:10).” Kristus tidak membeberkan tentang kejahatan macam apa dan siapakah yang akan melakukannya, tetapi pernyataan-Nya itu membangkitkan rasa ingin tahu mereka.

Dia memberi tahu mereka bahwa tidak semua di antara mereka itu benar. Firman Kristus merupakan pemilah yang memisahkan domba dari kambing. Bukan tentang kamu semua Aku berkata, murid-murid dan pengikut-pengikut-Ku. Perhatikan, selalu ada campuran antara orang jahat dan orang baik, bahkan dalam perkumpulan orang-orang yang terbaik sekalipun. Bahwa Kristus sendiri tahu siapa yang benar dan siapa yang tidak: Aku tahu, siapa yang telah Kupilih, yaitu segelintir orang yang dipilih dari sekian banyak yang dipanggil bersama-sama. Kristus hendak menegaskan bahwa:

Pertama, mereka yang terpilih itu dipilih sendiri oleh Kristus. Ia sendirilah yang menentukan siapa-siapa yang menjadi bagian dalam pekerjaan-Nya.

Kedua, Mereka yang terpilih itu dikenal oleh Kristus, sebab Ia tidak akan pernah melupakan orang-orang yang telah disentuh oleh kasih-Nya.

Apa yang terjadi pada Yudas tentu saja menyedihkan hati Yesus sebab dia mengasihi Yudas dan karena itu, Yudas selalu makan bersama dengan dia, bahkan makan dekat dengan dia. Yudas, sebagai seorang rasul, dianugerahi hak istimewa yang paling tinggi: dia makan roti bersama Kristus. Yudas dekat dengan-Nya dan disukai oleh-Nya, menjadi salah satu dari sanak saudara-Nya, yang bergaul karib dengan-Nya. Yesus mengatakan: Dia (si pengkhianat) makan roti bersama-Ku, dan para murid-Nya juga mendapat bagian di dalamnya, termasuk Yudas sendiri. Ke mana pun Kristus pergi, Yudas diterima di sana juga. Yudas tidak makan di antara para hamba. Dia ikut menikmati roti mujizat dengan-Nya, saat beberapa ketul roti itu dilipatgandakan. Ia juga makan perjamuan Paskah bersama dengan Kristus. Perhatikan, tidak semua yang makan roti bersama Kristus adalah murid-murid sejati-Nya (1Kor. 10:3-5). Menyedihkan bahwa, kedekatan dan keakraban Yudas dengan Yesus tidak mencegahnya untuk melakukan pengkhianatan kejam: dia mengangkat tumitnya terhadap Kristus. Yudas meninggalkan Yesus, berbalik menentang Dia, dan dengan keras hati keluar perkumpulan murid-murid-Nya (ay. 30).

Perhatikan, bukanlah hal aneh untuk mendapati bahwa orang-orang yang sepertinya kawan Kristus ternyata adalah musuh-Nya yang terjahat. Mereka berpura-pura mengagungkan Dia, padahal maksud sesungguhnya adalah untuk melawan Dia. Dengan demikian, mereka benar-benar membuktikan diri bersalah, bukan hanya karena tidak tahu berterima kasih, tetapi juga karena sudah melakukan penipuan dan pengkhianatan berat.

Kejatuhan dan kegagalan para murid Kristus merupakan dukacita yang amat besar bagi jiwa Guru mereka. Dosa-dosa orang Kristen merupakan kepedihan bagi Kristus. “Masakan salah satu dari kalian akan mengkhianati-Ku? Kamu yang telah menerima segala anugerah yang luar biasa daripada-Ku. Kamu yang Kupikir layak akan selalu setia kepada-Ku, yang telah menunjukkan rasa hormat yang begitu besar kepada-Ku. Kesalahan apakah yang telah kamu dapati dalam diri-Ku sehingga seorang dari kalian sampai tega mengkhianati Aku?” Semua pikiran ini berkecamuk dalam hati-Nya, seperti perbuatan durhaka anak-anak mendukakan orang-orang yang telah membesarkan dan mengasuh mereka.

Dalam kehidupan kita, kita perlu menyadari betapa besar rahmat dan kasih Tuhan kepada kita. Tuhan mengasihi kita tanpa syarat. Ia juga juga berbelas kasih kepada kita dalam kerahiman-Nya. Ia mengasihi kita pula melalui orang-orang yang kita kasihi, keluarga kita, Ayah-Bunda, Om-Tante dan saudara/i kita. Sudahkah kita sungguh setia dan mencintai mereka dengan kasih yang tulus? Apakah kita pernah mengkhianati mereka dengan membuat mereka sakit hati, berbalik mengacuhkan kasih mereka yang sedemikian tulus pada kita?

Semoga kiranya kasih Kristus yang begitu besar di palang salib penghinaan mengingatkan kita bahwa dosa bukan saja berarti pelanggaran berat yang kita lakukan tetapi juga sikap acuh tak acuh, malas tahu atas besarnya cinta yang kita terima dari orang-orang yang kita kasihi. Amin.

El evangelio de hoy cuenta la historia de la exposición del plan de Judas para traicionar a su Maestro. Les dijo que no todos tenían razón. La Palabra de Cristo es un separador que separa las ovejas de las cabras. No todos ustedes, digo, mis discípulos y seguidores. Que el mismo Cristo sabe quién es verdadero y quién no: yo sé a quién he elegido, que es un puñado de personas que son elegidas de entre muchas que están unidas. Cristo quiere enfatizar que:
Primero, los elegidos son
elegidos por Cristo. Solo él determina quién es parte de su obra. Segundo, los elegidos son conocidos por Cristo, porque Él nunca olvidará a aquellos que han sido tocados por Su amor.

Lo que le sucedió a Judas precisamente entristeció a Jesús porque él amaba a Judas y por eso, Judas siempre comía con él, incluso comía cerca de él. Judas, como otro discipulo, recibió el mayor privilegio: comió pan con Cristo. Judas estaba cerca de Él y le gustaba, siendo uno de sus parientes, que se llevaba bien con él. Jesús dijo: Él (el traidor) comió pan conmigo, y sus discípulos también tomaron parte en él, incluido el mismo Judas. Donde quiera que vaya Cristo, Judas es aceptado allí también. Judas no comía entre los criados. Tomó parte en disfrutar el pan milagroso con Él, cuando se multiplicaron varios panes. Él también come la cena de la Pascua con Cristo. Notemos que no todos los que comen pan con Cristo son sus verdaderos discípulos (1 Co. 10: 3-5). Que triste que la cercanía y la familiaridad de Judas con Jesús no le impidieron cometer una cruel traición: levantó los talones contra Cristo. Judas dejó a Jesús, se volvió contra él y abandonó obstinadamente la asamblea de sus discípulos (v. 30).

Tengamos en cuenta que no es raro encontrar que las personas que parecen ser amigos de Cristo son de hecho los peores enemigos. Pretenden glorificarlo, aunque la verdadera intención es luchar contra él. Por lo tanto, realmente se demuestran culpables, no solo por la ingratitud, sino también porque han cometido fraude y una gran traición.
La caída y el fracaso de los discípulos de Cristo es un gran dolor para el alma de su Maestro. Los pecados de los cristianos son un dolor para Cristo. “¿Alguno de ustedes me va a traicionar? Usted que ha recibido todos los dones extraordinarios de Mí. Usted que creo que son dignos siempre será leal a Mí, que me ha mostrado un gran respeto. ¿Qué error? ¿has encontrado en mí para que uno de ustedes tenga el corazón para traicionarme? ” Todos estos pensamientos rabiaron en su
corazón.

En nuestras vidas, debemos darnos cuenta de cuán grandes son para nosotros la gracia y el amor de Dios. Dios nos ama incondicionalmente. Él también nos da la piedad en su misericordia. También nos ama a través de nuestros seres queridos, nuestras familias, nuestros padres, nuestras tíos y hermanos / hermanas.

¿Realmente hemos sido leales y los hemos amado con amor sincero? ¿Alguna vez los hemos traicionado haciéndoles daño, volviéndonos a ignorar su amor tan sinceramente hacia nosotros? Que el gran amor de Cristo en la cruz de la humillación nos recuerde que el pecado no solo significa las graves violaciones que cometemos, sino también la indiferencia, la ignorancia de saber la cantidad de amor que recibimos de nuestros seres queridos. Today’s Gospel tells the story of the exposition of Judas’ plan to betray his Master. Christ knew all that from the beginning, but now he revealed it first to his disciples who never thought that Christ would be betrayed, especially by one of them. Christ only says in general. “Not about all of you,” I said, “Of course, I do not think you all do that, because I know who I chose and for whom I died, but this verse must be fulfilled: he who eats my bread has lifted his heel against me (Ps 41 : 10). “Christ did not reveal what kind of evil and who would do it, but his statement aroused their curiosity.

He told them that not everyone was right. The Word of Christ does separate the sheep from the goats. Not all of you, I say, my disciples and followers. Keep in mind that there is always a mixture of bad people and good people, even in the best people gathering. Christ himself knows who is true and who is not: I know who I have chosen, who is a handful of people who are chosen from many who are united. Christ wants to emphasize that:First, the chosen ones are chosen by Christ. Only he determines who is part of his work. Second, the elected areknown to Christ, because He will never forget those who have been touched by His love.

What happened to Judas precisely saddened Jesus because he loved Judas and because of that, Judas always ate with him, even ate near him. Judas, like another disciple, received the greatest privilege: he ate bread with Christ. Judas was close to Him and he liked him, being one of his relatives, that he got along with him. Jesus said: He (the traitor) ate bread with me, and his disciples also took part in it, including Judas himself. Wherever Christ goes, Judas is accepted there as well. Judas did not eat among the servants. He took part in enjoying the miraculous bread with Him, when several loaves multiplied. He also eats the Passover meal with Christ. Notice that not all who eat bread with Christ are his true disciples (1 Cor. 10: 3-5). How sad that the closeness and familiarity of Judas with Jesus did not prevent him from committing a cruel betrayal: he raised his heels against Christ. Judas left Jesus, turned against him and stubbornly left the assembly of his disciples (verse 30).

Keep in mind that it is not uncommon to find that people who appear to be friends of Christ are in fact the worst enemies. They pretend to glorify him, although the real intention is to fight against him. Therefore, they really prove themselves guilty, not only because of ingratitude, but also because they have committed fraud and a great betrayal.

The fall and failure of the disciples of Christ is a great pain to the soul of his Master. The sins of Christians are a pain for Christ. “Any of you will betray me, you who have received all the extraordinary gifts of Me, you who believe that you are worthy will always be loyal to Me, who has shown me great respect, what mistake have you found in me, so that one of you has the heart to betray me? “All these thoughts raged in his heart.

In our lives, we must realize how great the grace and love of God is for us. God loves us unconditionally. He also gives us mercy in his magnanimousness. He also loves us through our loved ones, our families, our parents, our uncles and brothers / sisters. Have we really been loyal and have we loved them with sincere love? Have we ever betrayed them by harming them, by ignoring their love so sincerely towards us? May the great love of Christ on the cross of humiliation remind us that sin not only means the serious violations we commit but also the indifference, the ignorance after knowing the amount of love we receive from our loved ones. Amen
