John, the beloved disciple goes with Peter to the tomb where they had placed Jesus and they find the tomb empty. The folded cloths make it appear that there has not been any thief and beloved the disciple comes to believe. Where in appearance there is total death, he perceives that life is in its full manifestation will stay the same: the resurrection.

Our faith is not based on ideas but on a person. Hence, as believers, we have to learn to know Jesus more and more (his words, his actions), to let ourselves be passionate about him and finally to shape our life according to his.

Thank you, Lord, for the men and women who have given us the testimony of you.

Juan, el discípulo amado va con Pedro al sepulcro donde habian puesto a Jesús y lo encuentran vacío. Los paños doblados hacen ver que no ha sido un ladrón y el discípulo cree. Donde en apariencia hay muerte, percibe que la vida está en su plena manifestación: resurrección.

Nuestra fe no se basa en ideas sino en una persona. De ahí que, como creyentes, tengamos que empeñarnos en conocer más y más a Jesús (sus palabras, sus acciones), en dejarnos apasionar por él y finalmente en configurar nuestra vida según la suya.

Gracias señor, por los hombres y mujeres que nos han dado y nos dan testimonio de ti.

Yohanes, murid terkasih Yesus pergi bersama Petrus ke kubur tempat mereka menempatkan jenazah Yesus. Di sana mereka menemukan kubur kosong. Kain yang dilipat menunjukkan bahwa tak ada jejak pencurian. Semuanya terlihat rapi dan Yohanes percaya bahwa mujikzat kebangkitan sungguh terjadi. Dia pun pecaya bahwa di dalam kekelaman kematian sekalipun, ia tetap merasakan bahwa hidup yang total termanisfestasi dalam kemenangan atas dan kebangkitan sang Guru dari maut.

Saudara/i, iman kita tidak didasarkan pada ide tetapi pada seseorang, pada pribadi seorang Yesus, sang Mesias, sang Imanuel. Oleh karena itu, sebagai orang percaya, kita harus berusaha untuk mengenal Yesus lebih dan lebih (kata-katanya, tindakannya, sikap hatinya), untuk membiarkan diri kita dibakar oleh semangat cinta-Nya akhirnya membentuk kehidupan kita sesuai dengan dirinya, sesuai dengan hidupnya.

Terima kasih, Ya Tuhan, untuk para pria dan wanita yang telah memberi kami kesaksian tentang Yesus, mereka yang dengan setia menyatakan bahwa kasih-Mu akan tetap bertahan sampai akhir zaman. Amin.

The death of the first Christian martyr St. Stephen shows the difficulties that the first Christians experienced in their own town. They

still have the same rejection that the teacher had. Their experience of Jesus Christ, their life, their death and their resurrection, made them relativize the old Jewish categories.

Curiously, this death of Esteban caused a huge missionary movement beyond the borders of Israel. These days we are celebrating Life with great joy. But a life that, despite having a vocation for Peace, often brings conflict, because believing in it implies a certain way of understanding the world that does not always suit everyone.

For many times, we all face that telling the truth is a difficult and complicated thing. Not only telling the truth but also living and defending the truth. That costs us so much work and effort. But we trust that the same power that  enable the Stephen until the end of his life, will also enable us to be a soldier of truth and a knight of justice.

Lord, let us not tire of seeking the truth of the Gospel in saying it without fear.

La muerte del primer mártir cristiano, Esteban muestra las dificultades que los primeros cristianos experimentaron en su propio pueblo. Siguen teniendo el mismo rechazo que tuvo el maestro. Su experiencia de Jesucristo, su vida, su muerte y su resurrección, les hacía relativizar las antiguas categorías judías.

Curiosamente, esta muerte de Esteban provocara un enorme movimiento misionero más allá de las fronteras de Israel. Estos días estamos celebrando con gran alegría la Vida. Pero una vida que, pese a tener una vocación de Paz, muchas veces acarrea conflicto, porque creer en ella implica una determinada manera de comprender el mundo que no siempre casa bien con todos.

Pues muchas las veces, todos nosotros enfrentamos que decir la verdad es una cosa difícil y complicada. No solamente decir la verdad, pero también vivir y defender la verdad. Eso nos cuesta tanto trabajo y esfuerzo. Pero confiamos que el mismo poder que habilitas al Esteban hasta al fin de su vida, también nos va a capacitar en ser soldado de la verdad y caballero de justicia.

Señor, que no nos cansemos de buscar la verdad del Evangelio de decirla sin miedo.

Kematian martir Kristen pertama, Santo Stefanus menunjukkan kesulitan yang dialami orang Kristen pertama di kota mereka sendiri. Mereka masih mengalami penolakan persis seperti yang dialami oleh Yesus Kristus sendiri. Jadi penolakan terhadap Yesus sebagai justru juga dialami oleh murid-murid-Nya. Pengalaman mereka tentang Yesus Kristus, hidup-Nya, kematian dan kebangkitan-Nya , membuat mereka merelativisasi kategori-kategori budaya Yahudi lama.

Anehnya, kematian Santo Stefanus ini menyebabkan gerakan misionaris yang sangat besar di luar perbatasan Israel. Hari-hari ini kita merayakan anugerah kehidupan dengan sukacita yang sedemikian besar. Tetapi dalam kehidupan sekalipun ada sebuah panggilan kuat untuk perdamaian, namun perlu diakui bahwa ada pula konflik, karena Percaya pada kehidupan berarti juga percaya bahwa ada banyak cara untuk memahami dunia dan masing-masing cara melihat dan memahami tidak selalu cocok untuk semua orang. Banyak kali, kita semua mempunyai pengalaman bahwa mengatakan kebenaran adalah hal yang sulit dan rumit. Tidak hanya mengatakan kebenaran tetapi juga hidup dan membela kebenaran. Hal tersebut menyita waktu, usaha dan kerja kita. Tetapi kita percaya bahwa kekuatan menguatkan Santo bertahan sampa akhir hayatnya, kekuatan yang sama pula memungkinkan kita untuk menjadi laskar kebenaran dan kesatria keadilan. . Tuhan, kuatkan kami agar kami tak pernah lelah mencari kebenaran Injil dengan mengatakannya tanpa rasa takut dalam perkataan kami dan juga dalam segenap tindakan kami. Amin.

Christmas is a celebration in which most people give themselves permission to be happy. Christmas makes December a special month. Christmas makes December a month in which people dare to dream, they dare to laugh; others give themselves permission to forget for a moment the problems. it is also an opportunity to reflect.

Christmas makes December the month of reconciliation, of union, of solidarity. Without a doubt Christmas makes December a special month, and that is in the middle of a troubled world, December provides the perfect opportunity to escape through an instant of tension, perfect opportunity to experience some peace.

Today in the world, there is an ignorance that without Jesus in the heart, Christmas will just be the celebration that lasts a month and then, again the sadness, anxiety, concern for the future, also despair will come back again.

How different a Christmas is with Jesus in our lives? When Jesus the Lord of Christmas is there, then the celebration becomes a celebration not just a month, it becomes a celebration that lasts a lifetime.

In this December, God wants to make your life a constant Christmas, where peace, hope, love and the conviction of a secure future fill your mind and heart forever. You have to invite Jesus to be the Lord and savior of your life, thus cheering you not only for a month, but for the rest of your days.

Brothers, may the presence of Jesus in our hearts give us a different Christmas, Christmas that is not only gifts, it is not only a party, Christmas is reflection, Christmas is to remember who is alone, Christmas is to give before receiving.

That is the Christmas we have. A Christ who gives everything for the sake of total love for the all of us so that in that way we can also love totally. Amen.

Navidad, celebración en la cual la mayoría de las personas se dan permiso de ser felices, la Navidad hace de diciembre un mes especial, la Navidad hace de diciembre un mes en la cual las personas se animan a soñar, se animan a reír; otros se dan permiso de olvidar por un instante los problemas, es también una oportunidad para reflexionar.

Navidad, hace de diciembre el mes de las reconciliaciones, de la unión, de la solidaridad, sin lugar a dudas la Navidad hace de diciembre un mes especial, y es que, en medio de un mundo convulsionado, diciembre brinda la oportunidad perfecta para escapar por un instante de la tensión, oportunidad perfecta para experimentar un poco de paz.

Hoy en el mundo se ignora que, sin Jesús en el corazón, la navidad no dejara de ser la celebración que escasamente dura un mes y luego, de nuevo la tristeza, la ansiedad, la preocupación por el futuro, regresa también la desesperanza.

Que distinta una Navidad teniendo en nuestras vidas a Jesús, el Señor de la Navidad, entonces la celebración se convierte en una celebración no solamente de un mes, se convierte en una celebración que dura toda la vida.

Dios en este diciembre quiere hacer de tu vida una constante Navidad, donde la paz, la esperanza, el amor y la convicción de un futuro seguro llenen tu mente y corazón para siempre. Solamente, tienes que invitar a Jesús para que sea el Señor y salvador de tu vida, alegrándote así no solo por un mes, sino por el resto de tus días.

Amigos que Jesús en el corazón nos dé una Navidad diferente, Navidad no solo son regalos, tampoco es fiesta, Navidad es reflexión, Navidad es acordarnos del que está solo, Navidad es dar antes que recibir.Que en esta Navidad tengamos presente a aquel que todo lo dio por amor a nosotros.

Natal adalah perayaan di mana sebagian besar orang mengizinkan diri untuk berbahagia. Natal membuat bulan Desember menjadi bulan khusus. Natal membuat bulan Desember bulan yang diisi dengan mimpi, Bulan saat orang berani bermimpi, orang berani tertawa; yang lain memberi mereka izin untuk melupakan sejenak masalah. ini juga merupakan peluang untuk sebuah refleksi.
Natal menjadikan bulan Desember sebagai bulan rekonsiliasi, persatuan, solidaritas. Natal membuat bulan Desember istimewa, di tengah dunia yang penuh dengan masalah, Desember memberikan kesempatan yang sempurna untuk sekedar menjaga jarak, sedikit melarikan diri dari setiap ketegangan kesibukan, kesempatan sempurna untuk mengalami kedamaian.
Hari ini di dunia, berkembang sebuah sikap apatis yang mengabaikan peran Kristus dalam keselamatan. Namun kita menyadari bahwa tanpa Yesus di dalam hati, Natal hanya akan menjadi perayaan yang berlangsung sebulan dan kemudian, lagi-lagi kesedihan, kecemasan, ketakutan akan masa depan, juga keputusasaan akan kembali lagi.
Betapa berbedanya Natal dengan Yesus dalam hidup kita. Ketika Yesus Tuhan ada di sana, maka perayaan itu menjadi perayaan bukan hanya berumur sebulan. Natal menjadi perayaan yang berlangsung seumur hidup.
Pada bulan Desember ini, Tuhan ingin menjadikan hidup Anda Natal yang konstan, di mana kedamaian, harapan, cinta, dan keyakinan akan masa depan yang aman memenuhi pikiran dan hati Anda selamanya. Anda harus mengundang Yesus untuk menjadi Tuhan dan penyelamat hidup Anda, sehingga menyemangati Anda tidak hanya selama satu bulan, tetapi untuk sisa hari-hari Anda.
Saudara, semoga kehadiran Yesus di dalam hati kita memberi kita Natal yang berbeda, Natal yang bukan hanya hadiah, bukan hanya pesta, Natal adalah refleksi, Natal adalah untuk mengingat siapa yang sendirian, Natal adalah memberi sebelum menerima.
Itulah Natal yang kita miliki. Seorang Kristus yang memberikan segalanya demi cinta total bagi kita semua sehingga dengan cara itu kita juga dapat mencintai sepenuhnya. Amin.
